Laran

Back to shelf
Living Etruscan grimoire portrait of youthful Laran in a pointed helmet and fitted cuirass, shown disarmed without visible hands.

Laran is the securely named Etruscan male warrior deity, usually youthful and represented in elite Etruscan armor or in an inscribed disarmed mirror scene. Ares, Mars, and the uncertain Maris remain distinct.
