Menrva

Back to shelf
Living Etruscan grimoire portrait of helmeted Menrva in a long tunic, mantle, and source-attested aegis, without spear or shield.

Menrva is a major Etruscan goddess attested by inscriptions, sanctuaries, mirrors, and votive art. Her Greek Athena and Roman Minerva identifications are historically important but do not erase her Etruscan cult and mythic forms.
