Nethuns

Back to shelf
Living Etruscan grimoire portrait of bearded Nethuns holding exactly one upright trident in one source-attested right hand.

Nethuns is a securely attested Etruscan male deity of waters whose name appears in ritual and cosmological evidence and whose visual corpus repeatedly uses the trident. His bearded and beardless forms vary by object, and Neptune and Poseidon remain separate records.
