Tivr

Back to shelf
Conservative living Etruscan grimoire portrait of gender-unspecified lunar Tivr or Tiur before one restrained crescent sign.

Tivr, also written Tiur, Tiv, or Tiu, is the Etruscan lunar divine term attested on an inscribed bronze crescent and in the Piacenza Liver. The same word-family can mean moon or month, and no secure anthropomorphic gender or likeness is assumed.
