Hebat

Back to shelf
Living Hurrian grimoire portrait of Hebat in a high divine cap and long woven robe, with a shadowed feline relief motif behind her and no merged Sun Goddess of Arinna imagery.

Hebat is the Hurrian goddess paired with Teshub and identified as the female member of the central Yazilikaya divine pair. Her historical syncretism with the Sun Goddess of Arinna is preserved as a relationship while both remain separate records and images.
